The SPECapc® for Creo 9 benchmark is all-new performance evaluation software for systems running PTC Creo 9, a 3D CAD solution that allows engineers to conceptualize, design, analyze, and validate products.
The SPECapc for PTC Creo 9 benchmark provides eight workflows (three CPU and five GPU) that exercise all aspects of system performance when running Creo 9. The benchmark generates composite scores for graphics, CPU and I/O performance. GPU scores are also generated for specific graphics display modes used in Creo 9.
Updates in the SPECapc for PTC Creo 9 benchmark include:
Application workflows in the benchmark include:
Composite scores for the SPECapc Creo 9 benchmark are generated for GPU and CPU performance. Sub-scores are recorded for the following tests: CPU, Render Studio CPU, CPU Convert, Shaded Graphics, Shaded Edge Graphics, Shaded Reflection Graphics, No Hidden Graphics and Hidden Graphics.
Scoring for the benchmark is normalized based on a reference machine. This normalization process ensures a scoring system where a bigger score is better. The reference machine specifications are as follows:
